Overview
Description

Our major in Decision Analytics was introduced in 2018 to equip students to meet the current and future societal needs of the knowledge economy. Students enrolled in this program are trained to analyze real-world data, build and fit models that are consistent with these data, develop algorithms, simulate models, and design process and system innovations to find optimal solutions to important decision problems. They pursue careers in domain-specific areas such as financial engineering or consulting services, including risk management, supply and demand analytics, e-commerce, revenue optimization, health-care analytics, and even sports analytics.

We are in the process of applying for accreditation for this program from the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers. This will help our graduates to become internationally recognized professional engineers.

“My exchange trip to Stockholm’s KTH Royal Institute of Technology was one of the best times of my life. I was able to experience different cultures and meet new people during my four months in Sweden. This made me more open-minded and broadened my horizons. I studied, traveled, and, most importantly, made new friends. This was truly an unforgettable experience.”
